FAQ

2Smiley Feet

We provide quality and essential mobile in-home foot care services for seniors and individuals with challenges, home-bound or/and live in an assisted facility.

A spa pedicure service is a thorough cleaning for your feet. Depending on the condition of your feet, it can take up to an hour. Clients are in their chair while I’m seated on the floor. I bring my own seat, clean tools and towels, supplies and a stainless-steel foot basin.

No pedicures are not covered by medical insurance. Services are paid with cash, check, credit/debit cards or a gift certificate. If you live in a community where 2Smiley Feet is a provider, it’s possible that you can sign a charge ticket and the fee will be included in your monthly statement from your place of residency.

The Podiatrist is a medical professional devoted to the medical treatment of disorders of the foot and Podologist is a branch of medicine devoted to the study of, diagnosis, and medical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity.

A home visit requires a $20 deposit. It is applied to the total amount of the services performed. A client can cancel within 24 hours of the appointment to receive a refund. In the event of inclement weather, you may be asked to reschedule the appointment.

Yes, however, I am not licensed to diagnose your condition. Please read our Sanitation Pledge stated on the Services page. It gives details on how we work to protect you.

Yes! Understand that an actual ingrown toenail also means an infection is present. First, go to your Doctor to treat the infection. Once the infection is gone, I can gently clip your toenail, apply a cream for the pain, and set regular appointments to keep it from growing into the sidewalls.

Walking is the best exercise for your feet. It also contributes to your general health by improving circulation, contribution to weight control and promoting all-around well being.

Yes! There’s two different product applications that help retrain the toenails to grow out, instead of down into the skin. Look at the Service page for a picture of a foot with a B/S Brace applied on top of the toenail.
